An August Stay

The Maison St. Charles has been our go to hotel in New Orleans for several years. It's location is incredible. Right on St. Charles Ave. with a streetcar stop literally outside the front the door. Staff was courteous and helpful at all times. This is a great, moderately priced small hotel.

Location, location, location! Great place to stay!

This is my second stay at this hotel. It's conveniently located to restaurants, stores and things to do. The Streetcar stops right in front of the hotel to take you anywhere you want to do. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, safe, hair dryer, iron and small bottles of toiletries in the room. We did notice some dusty areas in our room this time. We didn't eat breakfast so there's no review on it. The staff was amazing. The only staff who really wasn't friendly or helpful was the young lady who checked us in. We called to request adjoining or at least side by side rooms with other family members. We were sharing a cooler and wanted to be close by. Upon arrival they told us we weren't close to each other. She looked at her computer for awhile before saying she could move us close to each other. Turns out we were in different buildings but had rooms on the corners. If we walked out of our rooms, leaned over the balcony to the building next to us we could see each other. Not very convenient. This was a little frustrating bc we had made the request and reservations ahead of time and was told it wasn't a problem to get them close. This was the only issue we had. Definitely will stay again.

Great place

Great hotel right of the Street Car line. Close to the Quarter but not in. Tons of restaurants within 10-15 minutes of walking. Very quant and the staff was so nice. Bring a little cat food for the cats. Safe, enclosed parking

Good location.

Room is a little "weathered". Poor water pressure, luke warm was the hottest, and phone did not work. Reported it after check in, but nothing done. They are strict on 4pm checkin. It is a good location. Right off of streetcar route. Next door to 2 fast food. Court yard is cute.

Great spot!

The only issue I had was that the air conditioner was constantly leaking on the floor. I let the front desk know and was provided extra towels to put down. Aside from that, I loved the hotel. Really nice location and right by the streetcar stop. The pool was always clean and the front desk staff were very pleasant. I would stay here again.

Kudos to the wonderful staff!!! Extremely helpful and friendly! Great location - within minutes of most attractions. Unlike most hotels, this one replenished towels and made beds after each nights stay.

Same as last time!!!

1–The television has no menu, guide, etc. Everything has to be done going channel to channel one by one or entering a channel number. Like before remote control—ALMOST!! 2–Why are the bed mattresses so high? 3–Very few parking spaces. And the parking space across the street on the corner, first thing you see as you enter is the sign saying you park at your own risk—no responsibility on hotel.

Second time staying. Beds are very comfy. Love that there's a mini fridge for leftovers. Parking was convenient. Everything met expectations. Will be staying here again.
