This was the worst experience we ever had. As first time visitors to Hilton Head, we were excited to have a PREMIUM ocean front room. First off, the property is gorgeous. The staff is welcoming and kind. G, our cabana server, was the most amazing ever. We loved our morning beach walks. Other guests were very pleasant. However, that’s the positive. Our room had a terrible smell of sewer. We had the balcony door open 24/7. The drawers were broken. The vent had mold. The shower faucet was falling off. We ended up getting our room moved after reaching a breaking point. The new room smelled better. But…that one had a shower that scalded you, then shut all pressure off. The toilet didn’t flush. The sink water was burning hot at all times. To include a $30 per day resort fee was laughable. Our expectations were high of the Hilton name. A clean, safe room is not a lot to ask when rates were not cheap. Let me say that Natasha was so sorry to hear of our troubles. She was truly apologetic. She did give us a bit of a credit, but it in no way fixed our stay. We could not wait to check out, to the point of me crying. Never again.
