This is a first-class property, traditional style built into an old bull ring. Excellent service and amenities. Great room service. 20 minute walk to the cathedral and other sites along Avenida Hidalgo. Very quiet with beautiful public areas.

This used to be one of Mexico 's best hotels. It is a magnificent hotel situated on top of inside of surrounding the bullfighting ring. Spectacular. The architect is unparalleled in the world with what they have done to get the quintorial Hotel to function as a hotel on top of the bullfighting. Completely well, it seems like the rugs in the rooms were a little bit run down the maintenance. You could see patches where they they glossed over. You could see it's not as clean as it could be and you can see that they probably don't have the income that they used to have which made reinvesting and upkeep better. Also the staff there is just not properly trained. They're trying their best but they seem to have no corporate helper guidance. They don't have a concerned service. So you ask the front desk. Where should we have dinner if we want to have Italian food and they sent us to a place that had closed down 2 years ago. The people in the restaurant they try their best. They're just not giving the right tools or the right systems. I had to fight for my discounts at every seating. And the place is starting to look a little bit run down. Looks like it could have been a five-star and now is a four star and if they just would upkeep they could bring it back up or it could slip to a three-star hotel.

Absolutely loved our night there. It’s a gem that’s rarely seen any more. It is old, and in spots does show its age. But the experience is worth it! The bar and the ground are AMAZING.
