This hotel is directly across the street from the beach. This beach is for surfing not swimming. There was great food walking distance from the hotel. We loved cafecito it was authentic and reasonably priced. The free breakfast from the hotel was good & great portions but the flys make it difficult to enjoy. The hotel has 3 different building with pools in the center. We stayed in the newest building on the third floor. No elevators just stairs but we didn’t have an issue with it. The room was cleaned everyday and we got fresh towels daily. The ac worked amazingly has a lil fridge for beverages. I had read in previous reviews about the night club noise. WOW it’s pretty bad we stayed Tuesday through Sunday. We got woken up on Thursday night from music it went until 3am. It seems like the most popular clubs were directly across from this hotel. I couldn’t even be mad because I had read this but chose to take a risk dont think I’d do it again. The staff was very friendly. If your young single want to party perfect place for you. If you have little ones they will be woken up from music at the clubs.

Por el costo 2 noches 6 mil pesos para un hotel 3 estrellas es muy caro.. Habitación con colchones viejos.. e instalaciones viejas... Incluía el desayuno más no las bebidas qué eran la mitad del costo de un desayuno entre 70 y 80 pesos... Realmente no lo recomiendo

The Restaurant only coffee or tea no water or juice you have to pay extra for it and the menu is too limited. Order a hot tea with toast we received tbd tea and after almost half an hour we received the toast bread

El lugar es muy cómodo para la estancia. Hay mucha diferencia en las personas que te brindan atención, por ejemplo: en las mañanas el chico muy amable y servicial pero por las tardes/noches había una chica que hacía la atención lo peor de la estancia, con un carácter pesado y retador, actitud mega nefasta y ni siquiera quiso proporcionarnos su nombre completo para reportarla. En la noche salen muchas cucarachas de la zonas verdes cercanas a las albercas. Nos quedamos 3 días sin agua caliente, por suerte era temporada de calor.

We loved our stay at Bungalows Zicatela. I traveled with my husband and two teenage boys. We were very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Front desk, security, restaurant staff, maid service and maintenance persons were all very friendly and helpful. There are many pools and the free breakfast is delicious and the portions are big. We also ate there for dinner a few times and it was also very good. The maid service is impeccable. My room always felt so clean after they were there and they would fold our towels into elephants and swans which I thought was really special. The air conditioner works really well which was a godsend as Puerto gets VERY hot. The only downsides to the hotel is it is noisy at night due to being next to 2 big beach clubs that keep it rocking loud. There also aren’t any room safes. I would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself on Zicatela Beach again. Thank for making our trip special.
