A nice property

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip in December. As there is no staff on site, the check-in instructions were sent in advance via email. The room was comfortable with good heating. The only issue we had was with the water pressure during the 2 days. It was abysmal. The property is a 15-minute drive from the Jökulsárlón glacier. The proximity helps when you are tired after doing a day's activity at the glacier. The room is quite spacious and has a couple of chairs and two tiny coffee tables. Overall it's a good place to stop while on the way to Hofn.

Ekra Glacier Lagoon was a really nice place for us to stay near Jökulsárlón and Diamond Beach. The setting was gorgeous with a bunch of waterfalls right behind our room! It's set back away from the road, so it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was super comfortable and had firm and soft pillows to choose from. The room was clean and had a mini fridge, kettle, french press, with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit the South Coast of Iceland. Thank you for providing such a nice and comfortable place to stay! :)

El lugar está muy bonito y tiene una gran vista para auroras boreales. Está muy cerca del glaciar y es muy cómodo para cuando tienes actividades ahí cerca. Todo estaba bien, excepto la jarra para calentar agua estaba sucia u llena de café. Seguro un pequeño descuido en la limpieza porque lo demás estaba muy limpio.

Beautiful views, large place and well laid out. Town if fantastic and all the locals out walking at night. Wonderful walk on path following coast and returned through the town. Sunset spectacular! Highly recommend.

Amazing! Best stay!

I couldn’t have been more pleased with my stay in this room. From the moment I walked in, everything felt fresh, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The room was spacious and well-lit, with a modern yet cozy design that made it feel like a home away from home. Every detail had been considered—from the incredibly comfortable bed and soft linens to the blackout curtains that made for a restful night’s sleep. The room had all the essentials and then some: a mini fridge, coffee maker, charging ports by the bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a smart TV with streaming options. The bathroom was spotless, with plush towels, great water pressure, and high-quality toiletries.

Very clean room with amazing views. Quiet location. There are no shops nearby but the hotel is a 20 min walk away. Best to come prepared with food options. There is a fridge but no real storage, not a problem for us but might be for some.

We LOVED this hotel! The room was spotless, super comfortable beds and amazing views right outside. Behind the "house" there are waterfalls. Location was super close to the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon. This was our favorite hotel for our trip in Iceland and wish we had the opportunity to stay longer than a night.

Très belle chambre, toute neuve et bien équipée. Accès autonome sans problème (place disponible pour la voiture, mais où la mettre exactement n’était pas clair dans les instructions). Localisation exceptionnelle, au pied d'une falaise, avec vue sur Jökulsarlon et sur des montagnes majestueuses.

all'arrivo c'è un foglietto scarno... le bevande pensavo fossero incluse perchè sul foglietto scarno non c'era scritto niente a proposito... alla prenotazione mi sembrava ci fosse una sorta di sauna di cui non ho trovato traccia... servizio tutto self check impersonale e ovviamente freddo... non ci tornerei anche se la vista e il posto sono belli

A normal room, anf for 400 USD a night there could be at least some kind of breakfast offer or an hot tub. If you you can get it for 200 USD ok, otherwise book one of the nice hotels around

Cozy property at a perfect location

We liked the property, room was spacious and clean. Location is perfect. We also used the 10% discount to the sister hotel. Host sent the room unlocking instructions on time. We felt comfortable and would recommend this property
