Estacionamento enganador, mas bem localizado
O estacionamento não existe. O que existe é um estacionamento próximo ao local (20 dólares/noite), ou um valet caríssimo (48 dólares). Fora isso, ainda há uma confusão para entender como funciona o estacionamento: a recepção diz uma coisa, o valet diz outra. Por falar em recepção, a impressão que se tem é que estamos sempre atrapalhando o trabalho “importantíssimo” do funcionário no front desk que não faz questão de responder com profundidade nenhuma pergunta e na, maioria das vezes, nem olhou na minha cara. O café da manhã é típico americano: pão de forma, bagel, cream cheese, cafe, salsichas, bacon e iogurte. É suficiente. O problema é a fila gigantesca que se forma por falta de reposição rápida e concentração em uma área específica. O quarto é bom, não tem cheiro ruim, parece ter sido reformado, mas o banheiro ainda tem cortina. A localização é muito boa, mas apesar de não ser, da a sensação de ser perigoso. Próximo do bay side, Brickell city centre, no centro financeiro de Miami.

Noisy hotel.
It's noisy. You can hear all the cars outside, especially considering that Miami tends to have high-powered cars that are noisy. The AC is very loud, too. They don't receive Apple Pay, so it was hard for me to pay with the card I needed. The room cards get deactivated every day because putting them next to the phone or other cards resets them, which is really annoying (I have never had this before with other hotel cards). So we were required to go to the front desk every time.

We checked in at 8pm on January 25th, however the receptionist treated the guests badly, she did not let the guests use the bathroom in the lobby with the excuse that we had to wait until she finished the check-in procedure for the guests, after the first guest checked in, she still did not let me use the bathroom even though we told her that we could not stand it and we needed to go to the bathroom immediately, however she was still upset and ignored our pleas that we needed her help and she continued to check in the next guest. After more than 10 minutes, I decided to go to her and asked that we need to share the bathroom key now and could not wait until she finished the check-in procedure so that we could use the bathroom in the room. Then we waited for her for more than 5 minutes but she still did not help. Once again all of us in the group asked to share the key of the lobby bathroom because one of the ladies in our group couldn't stand it until we finished the check in process and finally she decided to give us the shared key with a nasty attitude. After she finished the check in process, one of us said that she treated the customer very badly, we asked her name to complain to the manager of that department but she didn't agree and threatened to call the police if we continued to talk like that at the front desk. This is the first time we stayed at a hotel that costs $330 a night and doesn't let customers use the lobby bathroom even though we begged for their help.

Bon hôtel bien situé. Petit déjeuner à éviter!
Hôtel très bien situé. Vue de la chambre sur le canal. Donc bruit venant des bateaux malgré le 11ème étage. Mais ce qui est regrettable c’est l’atroce petit déjeuner ( pour un français!). Seulement œufs ( dur ou à la poêle, façon industrielle) et des mini saucisses a peine mangeable. Et le tout avec des couverts plastiques jetables ( vive la sauvegarde de la nature. Mais ce fut la même choses dans tous les hôtels que nous avons pris.

Convenient - Not first choice
The stay was good overall. Our family needed to take care of some passport business in the center of miami. So we chose this hotel mainly for the convenience and reviews. The traffic was a bit crazy getting there, but we managed. For the cost of the stay, we were not exactly pleased about the extra cost of parking. So, be prepared to pay extra for parking if you stay here. We had our 3 year old toddler with us and liked the fact the hotel offered breakfast in the morning. That being said, there were not a lot of options and the quality was just okay. We were thankful to have that convenience though. The room was nice and clean, but we constantly heard city traffic: honking, airplanes, trams, sirens, etc. Therefore, we could not get good sleep. Thankfully we had our son’s sound machine to help drown out some of the sounds of the city. Overall, it was an okay stay for us to get our business taken care of in miami. Would we choose to stay here again as a leisure stay? Our answer is no. But, for convenience to be located in the heart of miami, definitely not a bad hotel choice.
