My visit was for going to Yosemite both days. It's still an hours drive from here, but worth it when coming from the Bay Area.

There is a beautiful paved walking path along Mariposa Creek, just behind the hotel. It wasn't advertised anywhere, we just happened upon it while taking a walk. It is really nice. Lots of frogs and huge tadpoles.

We ate at a small, but fabulous little Mexican Restaurant with the best salsa I have ever eaten in Mariposa.

Mariposa is a nice little town with good restaurant options and shops.
"We enjoyed our time at the Tenya resort while visiting Yosemitie. The resort near the South entrance had multiple dining options. We got back pretty late each day after visiting the park and the main resturant was still open which was nice as there are little options nearby. The pre order breakfast option also helps save time in the morning.
The activiites were great for the kids including Archery and a climbing wall. There are nice indoor and outdoor pools as well. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable as well. Would recommend to others. "
"Great place to stay, 20min drive to curry village and everything needed on site. Pools were great to unwind at after a long day hiking and setting just gorgeous with the river running along side the rooms, just beautiful. Highly recommend."
"The room was clean and comfortable, check in and checkout was easy, parking was easy, no noise issue, though it would be nice if they provided breakfast"
"The staff was extremely helpful to my husband traveling alone who had a medical issue. They were kind and understanding and able to reassure me in this setting. After a great night's sleep and hydration, he was able to continue his trip without further issues. Thank you from his family."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and comfortable. You can request your room to be serviced if you like which is an opt in rather than out, which is great for the environment etc. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was good, plenty of options to choose from."
