This is a perfect place for a short stay. It's clean and comfortable and a vey short walk from the centre of Winchester. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Although there is no parking on site, Chisel St multi-storey car park is literally around the corner and is very reasonably priced; as we arrived after 6pm in the evening, overnight parking until midday was £3.50 (mid-September).

We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again

Small but perfectly formed room. Comfy if squeaky bed. Good brekkers. No tea making facilities in room but the dining room is available 24h if you need a cuppa. Next door to black boy pub - quirky and well worth an hour or two whilst sinking some beers.

amazing accommodation - we loved it so much we booked in for an extra two nights later in the week. staff very friendly, accommodation spotlessly clean and breakfast cooked to order. The accommodation was quirky and our second stay in room 2 was even better - larger room, with two windows and bath:), very closer to centre of Winchester and historical sights.
