Beautiful historic building. Neil and Jane are lovely warm hosts. The rooms are beautiful with unusual furnishings and modern amenities but with a homey feel. Breakfast was amazing with homemade food from local farms. Simply delicious. The location is superb for walks in the spectacular dales outside of your doorstep. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Lovely quirky room and very clean throughout. Friendly hosts and good selection of beers and wines available. Good breakfast. Only complaint was the awful weather but can't really hold them responsible for that.
The gardens looked great fun and hope to return next year for a weekend away.
And they have a TARDIS!

Great stay at low mill guest house
Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding close by. We had contacted them prior to our stay to request an early check in, which they happily arranged (although on arrival the lady who greeted us seemed slightly put out we were an hour early??).
The owner was a brilliant guy and very helpful. Very chatty and friendly, and couldn't do enough for us during breakfast. The room we were in was the "work house". It was immaculately cleaned and a very pleasant place to be.
We would happily recommend this place to anyone. The only very minor negative was the reception we got from the lady initially on arrival. We didn't see her after this, and maybe it was just a bad first impression or she was having an off day?? Either way the way we were looked after by the guy there was exceptional.

The property has been tastefully restored and is spotlessly clean. Our room was expansive and very comfortable with a separate sitting area. The food excellent and the owners Neil and Jane are very friendly and will do all they can to make your stay memorable. Would definitely return.

Short break heaven.
Short break after our wedding. The Low Mill was excellent, everything we wanted and recommendations of things we could do. As private as you would want it to be and access to amazing facilities and access to North Yorkshire. Amazing room and breakfast to set you on for the day ahead.

Wonderful find
Loved this place, it is amazing! A renovated old mill with the wheel still working Neil and Jane are lovely and can't do enough for you, they recommend a local pub for food and reserved a table for us. Rooms are beautiful and so comfortable with lots of little extra touches they have thought of everything, we didn't want to leave. Breakfast was amazing the only complaint was too much choice! we will return as soon as we can but for longer next time.

Fun but chilled B & B loved it.
Was lucky to pick up a cancellation and we had a enjoyable stay. Lovely spacious room overlooking the river. Great views of the quaint garden and river. Lots of nice added touches... bits and pieces box, chocolates, biscuits, fresh milk. Cake and tea offered on arrival. Breakfast was fantastic. All locally produced products and you can tell. My only problem I had was that there was too much to choose from. (Will need to go again!!) Went on a lovely 4.5mile walk from the B&B as recommended by the hosts. It’s a quirky and fun place to stop. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow. This place is amazing! Gorgeous remodel of an actual old mill. Gears and wheel still working Views are stunning. Hosts very gracious and help out with suggestions and relervations for neighboring restaurants. Rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. Stay there and you’ll want to move in. The Dales are magical. Breakfast was impressive- lots of choices and everything I tried was delicious. I will return to this one.

An absolute gem in a beautiful setting
What an absolute find the Low Mill Guest House was. Clean, spacious, fabulously styled, amazing breakfast, beautiful garden terrace, I could go on!
Neil and Jane were the most welcoming of hosts and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. From a welcoming offer of tea and cake, to recommending and booking us a table for dinner, they made our stay a lovely experience.
There is a reason Low Mill is a multi year, multi award winning guest house and there is absolutely no sign that they are resting on their laurels.
We wouldn’t hessitate to stay again.
