I enjoy this hotel primarily because the pool is really nice and the rooms are large. The rooms are handled by a third party which I was already aware of. Make sure you have WhatsApp or email handy for communications. The communication with the company that handles issues with the room is spotty. There was an issue with the wifi, receiving wrong passwords. There was a water shutoff one day, but it was corrected after several hours. The hotel is aging but overall it is still nice and a good choice for people that enjoy a clothing optional environment. The area around the hotel has many good restaurants. There is a wine bar around the corner and some good pizza places just down the street. There are other little boutique shops and even an Oxxo near by. Taxis are very expensive now. A simple ride around town is like $200 pesos and to the beach is $400. You have to negotiate the prices.

Mak Nuk (Íntima Resort) is an ideal place for people that enjoy a nude vacation. The swimming pool was nice and there was plenty of lounge chairs to sun tan. The room I had with a private pool on the roof had not been cleaned prior to my arrival. It was cleaned later after requesting it to be cleaned. As for the restaurant/pool bar. There was a very limited menu, and some times there was no cook. The drinks at the bar were very good, although with a limited choice. The bar staff could be more attentive, and in fact some guests left as the bartender/cook was either in the kitchen or busy talking on their phone. I remember five years ago, the restaurant had excellent food and drinks. I was looking forward to that, but the restaurant fell short. Overall, the hotel is good. Most rooms are to be booked by private owners like Airbnb. So make sure you have WhatsApp on your phone for communication.

Honestly if you are looking for a secluded and intimate stay, COME HERE! The actual property is nice and has a plethora of options surrounding the hotel (restaurants, shops, activities). There were two female bartenders during my stay (didn’t get their names) and hands down, they make THE BEST MARGARITAS!!! I also recommend renting an ATV for the day. It makes getting around the city easier and faster. There is an ATV vendor on the sand block as the hotel

I liked errrthin bout it, balcony jacuzzi da roof top pool was amazing. The only complain is that the staff acted like none of my friends could come visit after paying so much money to stay there, there’s no way somebody going to not be able to have a guest come and then when i asked if my friend came the staff lied and said nobodi came to the front looking for me when i clearly tld them i had my friend coming. No way i would pay over 1200 for a trip and not be allowed 1 single guest or even lied to about my guests comin to see me.

t and sweet.
Our stay was short but good. The condo could use a bit of TLC as the sliding doors were very hard to open but Hiram did drop by and WD 40 the sliders. Not many guests there but All in all it was pleasant. We will return.

This property is an apartment at Intima Resort, but managed by a third party. The resort is an amazing place where you can relax by the pool, au naturel. Food and drink from Passions restaurant is wonderful and served up by the incomparable duo of Antonio and Nestor. Due to the third party involvement, our suite wasn't ready for us when we arrived and communication with the management company was not good. The suite also needs some TLC, as number of things weren't functioning as they should. We'll definitely be returning to Intima, but will book directly through the resort next time.

Stressed Millenial Seeking Nude, Rejuvenating Stay
Pros: This place was very impressive! My penthouse blew me away - top notch appliances, marble and standup shower was a favorite spot (tied for the private Jacuzzi!) - the hotel pool was awesome with several private grottos/nooks; the food was suprisingly very, very good! I recommend the coconut shrimp, carne asada and vacio! Nestor was a favorite at the bar!! It's super quiet at night and during the day - felt very isolated (good thing!) Alex & Eddie kept my room cleaned daily and made small repairs (nothing major, but was on it)! Cons: Location - can't walk to much, nothing around you at night - getting a cab was a challenge About 20 mins from the beach each way

There was no staff on property for sexy villas portion of the hotel, and communication by phone was nearly impossible with them. The staff at Intima were great however. We had no WiFi in our room and no attempts to fix it. We had to go down and sit at the bar by the entrance to check our email.

only bad thing I can say is the pool is not heated so it was to cold to swim. and you had to repeatedly log in to the wifi.

Not as fun and nice as our last visit. The upkeep isn’t as good and it appears as though they are struggling to keep the units rented.
