Cool area to visit once. Especially for the Saturday night market and sunset beach views. You can hire a private island tour boat and do some shopping... Be careful about the Money Trail... They'll jump all over you if you're walking too slowly 😅.

Krabi is a beautiful Province to be in. The views are astonishing, the night markets are a thrill, and the walking distance from everything is also great. Not to mention, you are surrounded by nature, beaches, local convenience stores and shops.

Krabi is a huge area. Krabi town does not have the stunning beaches, whereas Ao Nong & Noparrat do. Plenty of boat tours from Krabi town & night markets though & near the beautiful, locally famous cave containing a gigantic skeleton.

Krabi Town is not representative of how beautiful Krabi province is. Worth spending one day in Krabi Town. We did the Mangrove walk/cave and Tiger Cave Temple but felt we had seen all the best bits of Krabi Town fairly quickly

I found Ao Nang to be underwhelming. We went to Railay and found it gorgeous but it was so hot with a million jellyfish so we couldn't even cool down in the water. Hong Island and surrounding areas were stunning.

Ao Nang beach was very busy at night (feb 2025) and had great atmosphere. It was also very easy to access trips to the islands from here. We loved it.

Loved Krabi! Definitely looks exactly like what you'd imagine from online/post cards. Nothing can beat the ocean with those huge limestone cliffs!

We really liked the Meka Catamaran and the Krabi Elephant Sanctuary - not so impressed with Railay - it's a crazy tourist crush.

"Our stay at Tubkaek Hotel in Krabi was pure paradise from start to finish. The location is breathtaking, with stunning views of the Andaman Sea and unforgettable sunsets right from the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with warm smiles and exceptional service. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with every comfort in mind. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the beachside dining made every meal magical. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with luxury touches, Tubkaek Hotel is a dream come true. We can’t wait to return!"
"Beautiful property steps away from the most beautiful beach! Very clean with great AC. The pool area is beautiful. Walking distance to anything you could possibly need and a short ride or bolt away from local attractions like Din Daeng Doi. Great breakfast too! Thank you Golden Beach Resort. ❤️❤️❤️"
"Dusit Thani Krabi offers an impeccable standard for a resort. The rooms were big and comfortable, the beach and pool was nice and beautiful, the staffs are super helpful and friendly. A special shout out to the team at Club Lounge. They were such wonderful host, going out of the way to make my kids felt at home."
"this is the only hotel with beachfront and easy beach access. You can walk on the beach to get back to your room from downtown or you can take the city streets and come in the main gate. You are centrally located with convenient access to everything. The only thing I can say about the hotel that is not be positive is the pools were green and pool water was not clear. The location, the landscaping and the beach access overcame this one issue."
"The hotel did an excellent job decorating our room with a birthday surpise. The place is quiet but not overly secluded. Plenty of eating options and minimarts within 3-5min walking distance. Less than 100baht, you can get a Grab ride to Ao Nang beach. "
