Short stay at Cleaver Cottage Bed & Breakfast.
Great stay at Cleaver Cottage. Bed was comfortable, amenities were good and the breakfast was lovely.
Just a few minor attention to detail points. The rooms are shabby and could do with a little attention, the kettle was not very clean and there was hairs on the bathroom floor.
The owners were attentive and made you feel welcome.

I wasn’t happy that breakfast was only offered from 7:15
As I had to leave before that nothing was offered
( a packed lunch maybe or even some form of cereal or toast )
Nothing disappointing on that part

Lovely B&B near Andover
Very welcoming hostess. Rang me to confirm arrival time and explained key safe details. Plenty of off road parking. Bright and airy room spotlessly clean, king size double bed a little hard for me but I slept like a log. Very quiet rural location.
Breakfast was great tasting cooked breakfast with local ingredients. Full selection of cereals and yogurt etc.

My wife and I booked this as an overnight stop on our way back from Plymouth. It had a real country cottage feel in a quiet village. Caroline (the host) was friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean and had good facilities. The breakfast was good. We would stay again when travelling that way.

Directions to find the property are needed. Otherwise it is very nice for a historical type building.

The bed & breakfast is well located for travel along A303 as just 3 -4 miles of the route with a low price Texaco filling station along that length. The local village pub is a bit quirky and did not do food in the evening but there is another a bit further away that did although the prices are a bit elevated. There is ample parking and the room I had was spacious although lacking any table to work at. The bathroom was adjacent and I think is shared if someone is in the other adjacent room. Host was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

A very nice B&B
I was working at the Hawk Concervancy and Cleaver Cottage is only ten minutes away. I cannot remember a nicer B&B and Caroline's breakfast was excellent.
