We had a great stay at Plaza Spania! The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and the location is very safe and central. Will definitely come back the next time I visit Rio :)

Staff & service was very cordial and helpfull, however the room had seemed like it had unfinished construction work, like cement on the bathroom floor, some infiltration on the bathroom and some spots of painting on random places, besides that it was an okay room.

Convenient location and excellent value!
An excellent choice that you might wish to consider! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and overall this is a great hotel choice based on its location and value. The hotel is conveniently located only one block from Praia Shopping Botafogo and also convenient to the metro line (2 blocks away). The entire staff worked hard to ensure our comfort - from the wonderful breakfast buffet to attending to all of our needs to providing wonderful service. Muito abrigado, Plaza Spania!

Awesome place
Had a great stay, very nice hotel ans good staff. They are really friendly, have a nice solo artist on the weekend’s. Location is really amazing, it definitely felt safer than Copacabana. The breakfast is awesome ans their cakes. The room I had was small but it is expected for the price. I would stay longer, my only complaint is there is no natural sunlight. The rooms are inside so there are no windows for outside. If it had that, would definitely staid longer. I definitely recommend the place and I definitely would return.

O quarto não havia sido sequer varrido, roupa de cama com sujo de menstruação e tolhas quase se desfazendo e toda manchada tb. Fiquei decepcionada. As atendentes são ótimas e atenciosas Mas, no quesito limpeza é péssimo!

Hotel pequeno e bem aconchegante, todo reformado. Só achei que o chão do quarto estava um pouco sujo, principalmente em baixo das camas e nos cantos. Estávamos em 2 quartos, em um deles no banheiro era cortina no chuveiro, o que faz com que o banheiro fique molhado. Café excelente, com bastante variedades, no último dia pegamos o voo bem cedo e nos deixaram tomar café antes do início programado.

Hotel deixou mt a desejar
Foi bem decepcionante a estadia nesses 4 dias. Colchão ruim, travesseiros péssimos, Wi-Fi sem sinal, interfone do quarto não funcionava, secador também não. O café da manhã cheio de mosquitinhos, sendo tapado com um tule furado. Banheiro com o teto mofado. A camareira só fazia a limpeza do que era solicitado. Uma pena, pois todos esses problemas poderiam ser sanados e o hotel seria um ótimo local de hospedagem.
