Does what it says on the tin!

Comfy bed room was very small but it’s Amsterdam so to be expected. Price was good considering. Great location. Nice staff. Bike hire was easy. Tram / metro outside the door

Nice place to stay

Very comfortable hotel. My only annoyance was the mattress topper kept sliding all over the place on single bed.

Good option!

Good location. Room very clean and friendly staff. The other guests were a bit too noisy but it is not the hotel's fault. Possibility to rent a bike (which I didn't but I like the idea!).

For a short stay nice hotel. Room was very small but with everything you need and clean. Room was 1st floor to the street, so it was noisy, but acceptable for me ( and 1 night)

Arcade Hotel Amsterdam June 2024

Very special hotel focused on retro video gaming, with two consuls in each room and a lot of retro games. I was brought back 35 years and loved it. Positive: Clean room, near to central Amsterdam (20 minutes walk), good service. Negative: no real parking solution in the vicinity, breakfast was a bit too plain, but functional.

Not bad but …

Good stay overall, polite service but very bad cleaning standards. Overall experience in line what can be expected from a 3 star property.
Dariusz, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Very cool & hip property! Rooms were spacious and equipped with fun self-controlled multi-colored LED lights and video game systems. Breakfast deal was well worth the money as was the late checkout option. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Located across from a beautiful park and close to transportation options or pleasant walk to many tourist attractions. Heated towel rack and rain shower head in the bathroom were also pretty awesome.
Kelly, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Nice location. Rooms were very tiny, not big enough to open suitcases. Kind of like for a hobbit. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom adequate but small. Looks somewhat rundown. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Place to store luggage if checking out early. Walkable to museums, stores nearby, trams.
Francine, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Terrible stay, tiny rooms, incredibly hot rooms day and night, stains on bed on arrival, filthy stained carpets in stairwell, avoid if possible!
Tom, 5-night trip

Window doesn't close and it is very cold and loud

6/10 Okay

Very unique hotel in Amsterdam, extremely close to city centre around 3 stops with the metro. Only downside is that there was one specific member of staff named Julien who was extremely rude, when asked if we could retrieve our luggage from the storage room he told us to wait, we was already running on a tight schedule he made us wait 20 minutes whilst he sat with his feet up on his desk having a conversation on his mobile phone with someone, in my opinion this is unacceptable and very rude. Hotel is VERY noisy in the mornings so if you don’t like being woken up with noise in the early hours probably best to pick another hotel.

I did booking in your hotel by mistake for wrong date when i arrive their Your staff from Asian ethnicity start jocking and laughs about me And refuse to help me

8/10 Good

The coolest hotel in Amsterdam

I've never been someone who wants to remain in my hotel when I travel - but this place is the exception. The room I stayed in (the love shack) was basic but comfortable and had plenty of storage for my bags. The place was a bit noisy but earplugs were provided free of charge. The location is perfect for navigating the city: you can walk to the centre of the city in half an hour. Plenty of public transport options too - or you can rent a bike from the hotel, which is a great idea. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby and the park is beautiful. The staff at the Arcade Hotel are incredibly friendly and helpful, there is a great selection of video games to play (and comics to read!), and the kitchen served some of the best food I ate during my visit to Amsterdam. There is also a very friendly cat who hangs out too :) I would definitely return here - if you've seen the sights of the city and want a chilled out but exciting place to stay, this is the place. Don't miss out!

10/10 Excellent

This place was so much fun to stay at. That had pretty much every video game that you can imagine to play on any console. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They also had a separate arcade room that was a bonus. My whole family loved staying here.
