Gostei muito da localização e da simpatia e profissionalismo da Cristina. Nao gostei nada da limpeza do quarto nem do estado geral de conservaçao do espaço. O hostel anuncia espaço para estacionar e piscina mas nao tem nenhum dos dois.

En solo à Sintra
Lieu idéal pour se reposer car l'almáa reste beaucoup plus calme qu'en pleine vilke. Possède un jardin dans lequel vous pourrez vous promener Les salle de bains sont spacieuses mais pas très fonctionnelles et il faudrait un bon rafraîchissement Les chambres surprenantes avec leur sommier en guise de palette...un peu dur Par contre le personnel est franchement super accueillant et c'est le principal

Cute little place to stay in Sintra! Nice little chill out zone near the fire place and all areas of the house were kept clean and tidy. I had a car so it was easy to get around, but within walking distance from Almaa is the Cascata de Pisões which I would highly recommend visiting during your stay! The hosts here are fantastic, they really make you feel at home. I would definitley stay again if I ever get to return to this magic town :)

Relax a little at Almaa Sintra Hostel
The Hostel is very near Quinta da Regaleira in Sintra. It took us a while to find it as the GPS that was in the rental car just was not cooperating. We stopped enroute and spoke with several locals who gave us directions and little sketches but to no avail. We later met a younger couple who had used the app Here We go to drive directly to the hostel without an issue. We later used this app several ties during our trip in Portugal with great success. The GPS would not be as fast and as useful as this app which we used offline. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable and our room was just fine. Nothing spectacular but the two beds were comfortable and the private bathroom adequate. It's a pretty relaxed place where you can just chill out and wander in the garden area. Quinta da Regaleria is a nearby site (walking distance about 5 minutes or less) that is well worth the visit and NOT as frantic and filled with tourists as Palacio da Pena. Right next to the hostel is a Medieval pub with a good assortment of beer and a reasonable menu. We had some toasted bread with tomato and pesto and meat. Very low key. We spent overnight

No es un hotel ni un hostal, es un albergue.
El Almáa es un albergue como cualquier otro de juventud, donde cocinas tu propia comida, friegas tus platos después del desayuno, los servicios y duchas son comunes, pero además son unisex y no hay ni cerrojo, solo una cortina. Todo viejísimo y tétrico.

Perfect stay at this Sintra Sanctuary
Almaa is perfect for both solo backpackers and no-frill families. The staff really makes you feel at home, and the daily free breakfast and music and 8 acres of gardens helps as well. From Almaa I easily got to Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Cabo da Roca via the local buses. My only caution applies to backpackers, bring your own lock and set of ear plugs.
