10/10 Excellent

the rooms were bright and clean and the property was in easy walking distance to downtown marblehead. There were bikes available to borrow as well.. All in all a great experience
John, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely historic stay. Enjoying my coffee in the garden area; peaceful!
Elaine, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

Beautiful historical home. But $400 a night is too expensive for a small, bare bones room
Julete, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The staff was helpful and responsive through texts but in person not very friendly or present. The house was cool but we had a broken rusted shower rod almost unusable sink and the fruit for the very small breakfast was molded.
Barbara, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

Staff was very nice.
Marc, 1-night trip

Great place to explore the coast

I spent 2 nights here, exploring the New England coast. The room was comfortable, with a comfy bed, nice hot shower and a small fridge. Staff were friendly and the simple breakfast in the morning was delicious. Off street parking and great place to explore the area.
Arie, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

The house is beautiful, outside!! You would expect more elegance on the inside. We stayed at the Hampton inn last evening and our room here does not compare to that. This room is very tiny and the carpet should have been replaced years ago. Very sad looking.

Overall it was an amazing stay
2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This was a beautiful stay. It was very clean, quiet, and charming. The room was big, clean, and had amazing features like the molding and details on the ceiling. The bathroom was nice too. There are restaurants and entertainment close by. It was an easy process checking in and out. Very satisfied, and will definitely be coming back.
Morgan, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A great place to stay in a beautiful old building! Love all the original details! Quiet and relaxing. I'd love to see it in the summer!
Allen, 1-night trip

6/10 Okay

The rooms are quite small and dated and the breakfast is quite limited. On the plus side, the area around the hotel seemed very attractive with a lovely sitting area around a fountain where you could probably meet and chat with other guests. Unfortunately for us, the weather was cool and rainy so we couldn't take advantage of any of that. All in all, the hotel isn't worth the price in poor weather but might be in good.
Bruce, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This property was beautiful. It was quiet and clean. I do believe it is more a bed and breakfast than a legitimate hotel. The staff, specifically Deb and Julie were fabulous. They were friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. They truly did everything they could to make our stay great. The few complaints I did have were due to my own misunderstanding of the property description and issues outside of the staff's control, like the couch in our room being ridiculously uncomfortable. The area is safe, quiet, and beautiful. The breakfasts were tasty and fresh, but are all cold like fresh fruit and pastries. There are no elevators, which had I noticed sooner, would have had a larger bearing on my decision to stay here. I would stay again, but not for 7 days, and definitely not on the 3rd floor again. I would recommend this place highly and only would suggest replacing the couch and putting in larger print on each room description that there is no elevator.
Meghan, 7-night trip

6/10 Okay

Disappointing stay

The hotel looked old and things seemed to be falling apart like door knobs. It was also a bit noisy from traffic outside and the fridge and heating system in the room. The people working there were nice though and helpful.
John, 2-night trip
