One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. One can only give a 10/10, however some very small points for improvement: a) Wifi on our floor (25th) was not as to be expected and b) cutlery was rather unpractical. Compliments to housekeeping and the concierge (= Younes) !

Best thing in Guangzhou was the Mandarin Oriental. Breakfast has asian and international cuisine, with fresh fruits and juices everyday. The bed was on the hard side but not too hard. The service is excellent. Mr Chase Zou in the concierge gave excellent advice on what to do and where to eat. They really go above and beyond to help guests. There was bus service to Canton Fair every day and when going back to the hotel, they had cookies and drinks waiting for us outside the bus. Such a thoughtful team. Rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday. At the end of the day, they also have turndown service and got the room ready for us. Wonderful.
