Vessel Hotel Ishigaki Island
"Breakfast was great as was the local focus on Okinawan food and drinks"
The BREAKFAST HOTEL PORTO Ishigakijima
"Our 1 night stay was enjoyable. It was our first time trying this brand & we would stay with them again."
Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas
"Soo busy and wayyy to many people in the pool. I found this resort to be way too expensive for what it was. Meals were very costly, it’s very far from anything else to go eat, drinks were too pricey & you couldn’t even go in the pool because there were hundreds of kids."
Beach Hotel Sunshine Ishigakijima
"Amazing experience overall. Will definitely stay here again if visiting this part of Japan. Amazing staff and views, exceptional breakfast and restaurant. Highly recommend!"
Ishigaki Seaside Hotel
"Great resort to stay and relax."
Art Hotel Ishigakijima
"The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast line became very long and was time consuming and especially difficult when we had activities planned for the morning. The breakfast buffet was also very crowded. The dinner buffet was delicious but was rather expensive t $27.50 per person which did not include soft drinks. The hotel is family friendly which is great but the pool and the onsen were over run with children. I don’t have anything against children but it was crowded and children outnumbered the adults. I was there in July. After talking to other tourists I found that there are some hotels that have adult only pools which may have been nice just to allow space to sit and relax."
Mr.KINJO GRAND CATS
"Comfortable beds, air conditioning could have been a little cooler. Location was good but we were there in a heat wave so the walk to the terminal or town felt long."
seven x seven ishigaki
"Loved the washer dryer in the room. Great modern hotel with apartment feel. Good location set a little out of town but not too far, onsite car rental was simple and very helpful along with the lime scooters on site. Worth a look if your planning a trip to Ishigaki"
Hotel Miyahira
"Very helpful person at the information desk. Of course we spoke through google translate The japanese breakfast items were delicious It was located exactly where we needed it to be, directly across the street from from the ferry to Takatomi island. Perfect location if you’re taking a ferry."

For an affordable exploration of its rich landmarks, history, and cultural attractions—including islands, beaches, ferries, coral reefs, snorkeling, ports, tours, diving, sailing, and mountains—a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. This destination provides a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, making it an enticing and budget-friendly option for travellers who wish to experience both the historical and scenic sides of Ishigaki.

- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel’s location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates might help you save on your stay in an Ishigaki hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to cost more; however, given Ishigaki's excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money.
