Novotel Lombok Resort and Villas
"It was lovely, quiet. Peaceful, very relaxing. Food was Ok, could have more options."
Sima Hotel Kuta Lombok
"The rooms are a good size, the sink and shower was full of mould which was unpleasant. When I told management they didn’t offer to change my room. They tried to clean the mould but it didn’t help so I asked again and this time they changed the seals. The staff were amazing, friendly, warm and made the effort to make my stay amazing. Great location in the heart of Kuta"
Batatu Resort - Adults Only
"The accommodation and facilities, along with the very helpful staff was excellent. We stayed at the venue for 5 days in total and can honestly say we would stay there again and again. The roon with its private pool and ouside shower / bathroom was exactly as described. There was a wedding next door to the hotel which was an interesting addition, which although loud celebrations, was something we are unlikely to experience again, and we were also welocomed by the locals with open arms. The venue was around a 10 minute scooter ride from Kuta, but this was not an issue for us, and the venue had a shuttle service for guests. Food was excellent, order everything, including room service requirements via WhatsApp and it us done, easy. We were also very close to the Mandalika Race Circuit, where we managed to ride around on our scooter. We could not ask for more, the staff would help you with anything you wanted, even arranging airport transfers and onwards travel."
Pullman Lombok Merujani Mandalika Beach Resort
"Took the villa, was so spacious and the location was also near the kuta city"
The Konkret Lombok
"The villa is part of a group of villas. It's extremely well located in Kuta town. Still quiet location of the main strip of busy restaurants. Minutes to the beach. We used the mini pool everyday, multiple times as it was a great way to cool off. Great designed property architecture wise and the interior design is very well thought through. Staff very friendly. Breakfast delicious and would recommend."
Origin Lombok
"Hotel Origin was a really great place to stay.We had a couple rooms overlooking the pool which was lovely. The room was spacious and included the shower and toilet.Breakfast is included with a variety of pastries, toast, pancakes,French toast as well as eggs of your choice will be cooked for you.Indonesian food is also available for breakfast such as chicken and rice etc The staff are delightful, so friendly and very accommodating. We would often stop and chat with them during the day .The only negative was after our rooms were cleaned they smelt of body odour which tended to linger ."
El Tropico Boutique Hotel
"10 out of 10"
Somewhere Lombok
"Somewhere was the perfect four night stay at the end of our honeymoon. It’s quite boutique, so peaceful and the panoramic setting is quite unique and special. The architecture, fit and finish is well considered and everything felt curated to perfection. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the whole experience felt personal. The curated menu offers just the right variety, as well as being some of the best food we’ve experienced in Indonesia. Compliments to the chef, particularly for the beef rendang, lobster special, vegetable fritters and the tuna open sandwich. The small bar area is a great place to hang out and the cocktails and craft beers are excellent. The head barman, ‘Rakka’ was great and became a friendly face during our stay. The location is over a secluded bay about 15 minutes from the centre of Kuta. The hotel offers a regular shuttle and sorted a scooter rental for us, which was added to the bill. We’re sad to be leaving, but hope to be back. I can see this place becoming a home from home."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kuta
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Kuta is during February, March, and November, when hotel prices are typically lower. During your visit, you can enjoy the stunning beaches, engage in surfing or fishing, explore the charm of the small town, take part in swimming and boating, marvel at the vibrant coral reefs, and even try horseback riding in secluded areas while soaking in breathtaking sunsets. This trip promises great value for money for those looking to explore Kuta's rich history and culture.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a getaway to Kuta, you may discover attractive hotel deals on Hotels.com by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app allows travellers to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you find the best hotel deals. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you never miss a chance to secure a worthwhile stay in Kuta.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more economical stay in a Kuta hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and occasionally better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that may help you find a more appealing offer.
- Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Kuta's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well served. For those wishing to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
