The Cypress rooms are on the highway and pretty, but pretty basic. I sleep lightly, so we moved to a top floor Vista room. $80 more a night, but with better amenities, balcony and a beautiful view of pine beach.

This property sits within a beautiful cove with spectacular views from the bedroom. There is a walkway to a nearby beach on the property which makes it very convenient to enjoy a little time in the sand or water. We upgraded last minute from the Classic Garden View room to the Premium Ocean view room since our initial booking (with Hotels.com) misinformed us on having a soaking tub. However, Richard and Bernadette went above and beyond to ensure our stay was

The staff was very helpful. We couldn’t figure out the fireplace and they were there within a minute to assist. Rooms were all updated and super clean. Great location. Must go to Cafe 1 to eat breakfast.

Perfect spot to rest in between Mendo and Ft Bragg. Clean, quiet, pickle ball courts, private path to labyrinth and beach, fire pit for morning coffee. We will be back!

Bathroom decor, my sisters room was more complete, nice to see what is coming.outside room seating, very nice Liked that parking was assigned Pickle ball perhaps needs its own parking area, sign ups not blocking the driveway.

Loved our partial ocean view room and the short walk to the beach. Took advantage of the soaking tub. We will be staying again when the restaurant is open. Next time we will bring our dog as the grounds are perfect for our four legged guy.

Room was great, however, I took the wrong trail to the beach for the path is not well marked. The hours of the spa/gym is not conducive to early risers. It didn’t open until 8:30 and I like to be able to work out at 6:00am and then have time to get ready for what we have planned for the day. Great place for those that enjoy pickle ball!

A fabulous property that recently went through a complete re-imagination. The rooms are spacious, have great amenities, and are well maintained. The beds and bedding are fantastic! They are still working out a few minor aspects, but overall this is a GEM!
