"Great location"
Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa
"Great hotel, but breakfast could be better We had an enjoyable stay at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa. The hotel was pleasant overall, and the room, cleanliness and staff were all good. We only used the swimming pool in the spa, which we enjoyed, although there weren’t enough loungers available. It seemed that some guests may have reserved them while having treatments, leaving nowhere for others to sit. The main disappointment was breakfast, which wasn’t quite the standard I expected from this type of hotel. The fried eggs looked as though they had been sitting out for hours and were hard, and the breakfast overall was underwhelming. Despite these issues, we had a good stay and would consider returning, although the spa seating and breakfast could definitely be improved."
DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes
"Great place and location!"

For a budget-friendly trip that allows you to immerse yourself in the local history and culture, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration is perfect for discovering key landmarks such as the impressive cathedral, enjoying the local art scene, and experiencing the charm of the friendly people. - Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you find a more affordable stay at a hotel in Buckingham. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes represent better value. When you make a booking with Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could offer a more budget-friendly option.
- Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. You could also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
