Village Hotel Nottingham

Village Hotel Nottingham

8/10 Good
"Staff very helpful as we had to change Club rooms as there was an issue with the toilet in our room. The room was changed in the afternoon, I did leave my new mains multi charger and lead for my apple phone in the room when I checked out but when I phoned the hotel up the next day it had not been handed into reception. I was not happy at all as my partner and myself were certain we left it there. There was also children jumping into the pool and using the jacuzzi when we used the facilities which is dangerous. These ared my only complaints about the hotel."

Sandman Signature Sheffield Quays Hotel

Sandman Signature Sheffield Quays Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Quick and friendly check-in. Easy parking registration. Lovely room but slightly odd lighting. Only 2 very small side lights by the bed and one small lamp in the corner of the desk. No overhead lights. Strange coloured lighting behind the bed. Overall, very dark and not so easy to read or work without natural light. Some construction work started at 6am in the morning outside the hotel with a delivery of a small crane which was very loud and woke me up which wasn't appreciated. Plus sides, comfy, clean bed, and lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Fridge and big tv. Didn't have breakfast or used the restaurant. Otherwise would recommend."

A stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal for exploring Newark’s key landmarks, history, and culture, including its monuments, museums, castles, churches, and other culturally significant attractions that offer great value for money.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Newark, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find reduced rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special offers. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you make informed choices. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you’re more likely to be the first to book that spontaneous getaway.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay at a hotel in Newark. For those in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we can suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, helping you to potentially find a more attractive option.
  4. Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience but often tends to come with higher costs. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you wish to visit. Additionally, you could look into independent hotels located further out, which are more likely to provide a more authentic and economical experience.
