A charming old hotel since 1863 ... nostalgic feeling, friendly staff, roomy with high ceiling, equipped with small microwave and frig. ... and 20 minutes walk to el centro. Definitely not a tourist town, but if have chance to visit Hermosillo again ... Hotel Kino is the place !

Very historic Hotel but needs a LOT of renovation & update work to bring up to better standards - cleanliness poor (long black hairs on white bed sheets?!); the kitchenette was uninviting looking to use - nothing plugged in or clean to put ANY food near; chipped & broken-off tiles on stairs & in hallways made unsafe conditions and, very sketchy neighbourhood with not much else open around this Hotel!

Charming and Authentic
So I rated this hotel a 5 because of the age of the hotel and its proximity to old Hermosillo, the central plaza, and Villa Seris. It is on the main boulevard to get into and out of town to Kino or San Carlos. We traveled in a family of 7 and need a economical place to stay for a short visit before heading off to Cabo. The hotel staff are friendly and maintain the hotel well. If you like to travel and have authentic experiences then I say give it go. If your looking for comfort and modern amenities then maybe not. One last thing, they have 25 hour free secured parking directly across the street from the hotel.

Me hospede una noche, la habitacion es amplia, con infraestructura desgastada, falta de cuidado y limpieza en paredes y muros. Lo que empero fue que a las 5 de la mañana otros huspedes decidieron poner las mañanitas a todo volumen, marque a la recepcion para pedir que lo solucionaran y bajaran el volumen, pero no acudieron en ningun momento.

Todo muy viejo , ventilador como matraca ruidosa, el servicio de cable a ratos e inconstante . La regadera para chaparritos, el elevador muy lento. El sitio en general de ve muy descuidado y viejo Lo único bueno es el personal Atento y con ganas de ayudar.

Habitaciones amplias, cortinas oscuras, hay agua caliente aunque tarde un poco en salir, estacionamiento, desayuno continental dependiendo de la habitación, con opción de mejora a Americano buffet por precio razonable. Muy mala experiencia, al llegar tuve que esperar hasta las 3:00 pm para hacer Check in, una vez que me dieron la habitación me lleve con la sorpresa de que la habitación esta muy deteriorada, el wc estaba muy sucio, habia fuga en la regadera y había agua encharcada con el piso sucio, es decir no hicieron la limpieza correspondiente, pedi en la recepcion que fueran a limpiar y no lo hicieron, no cumplió mis expectativas, por lo que tuve que dejar la habitación para cambiarme a otro hotel de mejor calidad-precio, NO LO RECOMIENDO.
