It was very clean and quiet, just a few minor issues which were mostly resolved. I was so grateful for air conditioning when the windows were sealed shut. Super quiet considering the pub proximity

This room was lovely: clean, cute, and very comfortable. The pub downstairs is great and the barman was very nice and helped me find the entrance to the hotel. The only problem was that my bathroom didn't have hot water (even when I turned on the gas switch). But the water got a little warm, it wasn't freezing, so it was manageable. Otherwise this was my favorite hotel I have stayed at in London, lovely area and so cute.

The pictures are clearly not current as room 3 is as pleasant enough but ‘tired’ and smelled of smoke………. Probably because it is not a staffed venue and could even be the cleaner? TV worked but was limited. Hot water was OK in the taps but the shower was tepid at best! The Bluetooth keys worked great for access but the WiFi password was refused! OK for a stay to a concert at Wembley but otherwise not so much with limited facilities - even the tea and coffee in the room were just a handful of tea bags, cheap instant coffee in a jar and only 4 milk pouches creates the feeling that it’s not customer oriented, it’s basic service for income. Slept OK, easy in and out, well placed for Wembley and underground back into London but wouldn’t rush back……..

What a shambles. The check in is self service. Codes didn't work, the pub staff instructed not to help. The pub and hotel were separated a while ago. Telephone number is that of the pub. The room was overpriced, tired, some loose tea bags and instant coffee. For the price I expected at least a proper tea and coffee tray. The noise from the pub and constant door banging didn't help either. Do not waste your money

Nice place to stay

Lovely place to stay. Very easy and convenient using my phone as the key and checking in online. My only criticism was that there was only coffee in the room, no tea and that the shower head was quite blocked and needed wiping.

Clean and comfortable room albeit small. Well decorated and stylish. No teaspoons or milk. Coffee was solid in a jar so not drinkable. Room was not made up properly after the first night, 1 wet towel removed and 1 wet towel left on the floor but neither replaced despite leaving them in the shower to indicate that they needed changing. No new tea or milk left. As we didn't return to our room until late we couldn't contact anyone. TV only works if their WiFi worked, that was very haphazard. Windows were screwed shut but we had air-conditioning which worked well.

Excellent. Check in experience was a little clunky/awkward as the app that you need to download to enter room didn’t work and it was hard to reach anyone, but once in the room fantastic very close to a lot of amenities. Highly recommend paddington rec area and the tavern itself

Clean room that was well designed, quiet and in a good central location. I would certainly stay here again. Only thing to note is that this hotel operates a code system for entry/check in, so there's no front desk. This was straightforward, although the signage to the front door could have been better - we had to ask the pub staff who were friendly enough to help.

I will start by saying that customer service offered to cancel our stay. We chose to stay despite being unhappy due to our short time in London - check-in was confusing, the pub/tavern was not terribly clean -we found dog poo along the walkway. The remote checkin support person did not know we needed two different codes to enter the building - this was not a hotel! An unmarked building with individual apartments. Once in the building we had to climb a steep and narrow flight of stairs with some heavy luggage. Room was fine, kept hearing people moving around on the floor above us. Even with ‘white noise’ running I was awakened by the movement-overpriced accommodation

Bathroom wa sa very small wet room, which flooded the bedroom floor! Lucky there was nothing of mine on the floor that could have been ruined. Consequence of a tiny wetr9om is that the toilet is completely soaked after using the shower. The room was extremely noisy, even with powerful earplugs. I think there was either a band on until fairly late, or very loud music.

The Room was perfect! I came to London for my Dads funeral whose birthday is May so his birthstone is emerald and let me say the room was this beautiful green I was blown away. My Dad may he rest in peace shares the same name an a small street near the tavern and that was anlso special I walked it almost every day I was so heart broken by the loss of my dad but I found peace tucked away in this cute hotel next to this quaint pub and I was able to write my tribute in the room looking out the window. The Tavern itself is just a few minutes walk to my Uncles and also transportation was easy to get to. I want to thank housekeeping for always taking care of the room which I was not expecting as often as they did. This was an amazing experience and you made my 32 year return to London special!.

Great, clean, safe, efficient stay

This was a great find - we were in a bind and needed to find somewhere affordable to stay in the area. I was a little hesitant about the no-front-desk setup, and we weren't able to arrive until after the tavern was closed, but the staff was responsive via email and checked us in remotely. Rooms were very small, but clean and appeared just as they do on the website. No elevator, and we had a good amount of luggage so it was a bit tough getting suitcases up to the 2nd floor, but worth the efficiency. There was conflicting checkout info, one email said checkout at 11 and one said 12, so we had to make sure we were back in our rooms by 11... turns out our digital keys did in fact deactivate at 11, not 12.

Give it a miss

First impressions were good, the room looked clean and comfy. But as i discovered when i tried to turn on the tv it did not work, then i discovered all the power sockets did not function. Because there is no one to oversee the hotel accommodation on site, the bar staff managed to locate me to another room but because the room was not expected to be occupied, the room had not been fully prepared. i had to go to the original room and take bed sheets and towels and take them to the new room and make up the bed myself. In the new room, when i had a shower, because it is an open shower and close to the toilet, everything got wet. Then to cap it off, when i tried to watch tv, it also did not work. When i mentioned to the staff in the bar, they said maintenance would look at it. It never got sorted. When i went to the bar for a drink and look at the menu, whilst i was standing there, i saw a small furry creature scuttle from under the bar to behind a chiller and can only describe it a a small rat. I then refused to have any meals there. I did tell a member of staff what i had just witnessed but he seemed a bit blasé about it. Overall, would not recommend.
