The woman at reception was lovely, very welcoming despite me arriving late at night and friendly throughout the stay. The hotel is well situated with there being a tube station within walking distance as well as plenty of food options. The room was okay, the decor in the hotel is obviously dated and poorly maintained but it's not awful. My room wasn't the cleanest, the bedsheets themselves were clean but the mattress underneath the sheet was stained and there was hair inside the duvet cover. Furthermore, the window was left open all day until I arrived fairly late at night, so there were bugs on my bed that I had to deal with before I could sleep! I'm just grateful they were bugs from outside and not bedbugs. The room itself was quiet enough for 2 nights and although small the bed was comfortable and it was enough for one person for a couple of nights. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere, but if you want something affordable for a short stay it's good. Just be sure to close the window and check the bed before you get in! The free wifi was also very fast compared to other hotels which was good. Overall decent, not the best hotel ever but certainly good enough.
