Small town with good atmosphere. Nice hiking and biking. Lots of buses with tourists stop to see the Church. The best is the night sky!!!

Lake Tekapo is bit cheesy town. I'm not sure what the hype is about, but we loved Lake Pukiki and Lake Ohau more as it's less commercial and quiet.

Small town with limited dining options but Greedy Cow was delicious for brunch and Silver Spoon (a Malaysian food truck/trailer) were delicious!

"Clean, tidy unit in a quiet suburb within walking distance of the main town strip. The bed was comfortable, the internet stable, the aircon was quiet and efficient and the tv was huge. There were some nice tea/coffee amenities and they had ecostore brand shampoo and body soap which I appreciated. Easy check-in and check-out process, would stay here again. "
