The Green Hotel Vientiane
"Great location, down a quiet side street but close to river and other sites. breakfast adequate, might not suite Western guests. The pool is terrific after a long hot day and staff very kind."
DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane
"This hotel was amazing. From first stepping out of the cab all the way until I departed. The hotel is clean and spotless, all the staff friendly and attentive, and the rooms comfortable. I’m a Hilton fan and this hotel exceeded my expectations. They even had a warm cookie and lovely cup of tea to greet me upon my arrival."
Amari Vientiane Laos
"The room was big and clean with a nice view of the Mekong. The shower was big although it had a window to the main room which could still be seen through even with the blind shut. The main let down was the on site restaurant, one lunch we were told we weren’t allowed in and would have to order room service. Later that evening the service was inconsistent, I was given a digital menu but when my friend showed up he was given a proper one. Overall minor issues but would stay again"
Crowne Plaza Vientiane by IHG
"The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive! The hotel service was among the best I’ve experienced."
Lao Poet Hotel
"Great stay, loved it there."
Riverside Hotel
"Great clean place!"
Azalea Parkview Hotel
"bon emplacement besoin de renovations"
Phongsavath Boutique Hotel
"The staff was genuinely very nice. The location was great walking distance to so many restaurants, print shop is one block over (if you need to print an E-visa which I did), not too far from the airport. Would stay here again"
New Champa Boutique Hotel
"Basic little place, nice vibe, good location. About right for the price in Vientiane. Nice pool. Quiet. Would stay again."

This duration is perfect for sightseeing at significant landmarks, exploring temples, enjoying the local café scene, and visiting cultural monuments. You might also consider activities like innertubing on the river or even rock climbing, all of which offer great value for money while immersing you in the vibrant atmosphere of Vientiane.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Vientiane, begin by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on accommodations as your travel date approaches. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're among the first to know if rooms become available or prices decline, making your last-minute getaway easier to plan.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you find a better deal on your stay in a hotel in Vientiane. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and sometimes more favourable value. When you make a reservation through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a good value.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Vientiane's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
