Updated ski lodge stay
Just a quick night stay after a family event before heading home. Room looks newly renovated….beautiful! Only bad thing was 10 miles away is an address with same address but different town…make sure to click the correct address on gps. Room didn’t have hair dryer and no bathroom counter space. We also couldn’t find an ice machine was late and didn’t want to bother texting owners. But we would definitely stay again!

No water pressure or hot water
It is a fantastic place so beautiful and clean I would give 5 stars but there was no hot water or water pressure in shower we told hotel but the only response I go was turn the handle to the right but that did not work. It’s really a bummer because everything thing else was amazing the bed and sheets were incredible

4th of July
Check in was a breeze and the owner invited me to a cookout they were having in the back, I assume because it was the Fourth of July. Shortly after as I was sitting on a bench out front another staff member walked by and did the same. As I was by myself I felt awkward joining them so I opted not to but it was a very nice gesture. The room was spotless and the bed super comfortable. Seriously my only problem was the tv doesn’t have normal channels so if you don’t have a Netflix account or the like, which I don’t, viewing options are very limited. Also the hot water took a few minutes to get going but once it did it was fine. Very nice place for the price.

Great find in Southern Vermont!
Chalet 239 has been gut-renovated and turned into a sparklingly new, gorgeous roadside motel. We stayed there when we attended a music festival in North Adams, MA and we were knocked out by the comfort of our little room and by the keen attention to detail. The new owners are exceptionally kind, friendly, and thoughtful as well-- their presence and personal touch gave the hotel some of the vibes of the best home rentals but with all the advantages of a hotel. I would definitely stay there again!
