I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. When I first checked in, they gave me a room in the basement - one level under the main level. When I went to go check the room, I saw that there was rainwater from outside that had flooded from underneath the door into the room. There were flood bags that had already been placed on the ground to try to soak up the rainwater so they were already aware of the issue. The fact that they still assigned me this room in that condition really bothered me. The room also had a very strong mold and mildew smell. I went to reception to let them know what I saw and to change my room but they told me they couldn't change my room until the next day. When I asked if someone could come clean up the excess rainwater on the floor, she said "No, not until the morning" and offered me a towel to clean it myself.
I was appalled.
The shower floor was also dirty and there are gaps between the windows and the side walls so you can hear everything going on in your neighbours rooms.
After the first night, they changed my room to the main floor and that was much better. The hotel is in a good location.
I wrote an email and followed up several times with the hotel manager regarding my first nights' stay but was ignored. Customer service at this hotel is horrible.
