The room is tiny , even smaller than a motel, you can barely open a 29inch suitcase in the room. And the first thing i notice whe i enter the room is a used tissue on the table. The fan in the bathroom won't close once opened unless continue running for 30min, and the hotel staff just call that "normal".

Nice hotel and beautiful room, but room not as clean as one would like. Short beds so if you are long I would recommend finding an other place to stay.

Small and comfy

Small but comfy. The walls are pretty thin so if you cant sleep with noise bring earplugs. But staff were great and the rooms were comfy and clean

Three nights at Abstract Hotel

My stay was excellent. The room is small but very functional. The facilities are in excellent condition and very clean. The location is great, just a few blocks from the center, so you can walk without a problem. There are several restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel, and the staff are wonderful! Highly recommended!

Wonderful

Great central location just a short walk from city centre. Excellent restaurant with great food being cooked by chef Dominic. Interesting wine list as well. Comfortable rooms and super friendly staff.

Comfortable, affordable and beautiful hotel

Clean, comfortable and compact room for affordable pricing. Close to the power station where we were going for a concert. Downstairs Italian restaurant is amazing. Food was delicious in a cost atmosphere. Regarding parking, be careful to first pickup your parking ticket before actually going parking because then you don't get the discounted price. We felt this was not very obvious from the instruction email pre check-in. Otherwise would recommend.

We loved this hotel - modern, accomodating staff and the best value for money we’ve come across. Added benefit is the restaurant on site (great breakfast) and a free to use laundry room. Only thing that was a negative for us is there is no thermostat/air conditioning in the rooms (there is a ducted fan system) but given the Auckland climate, it’s not too much of an issue. In close proximity to K-Road for a good selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy. We will be back.
