8/10 Very good

This was our second stay in a year’s time. If you don’t know what to expect, you may be surprised. It’s an old boarding school, so it has a cool factor. It feels like you’ve stepped back in time because everything looks original. The rooms are old but clean and have a bed, table, and sink. The bathrooms are down the hall, old but clean as well. It could really use some renovations. The location is great if you’re in the area because there aren’t many other options. We were disappointed with breakfast this time. It’s open from 7-10. We got there at 9, and some of the options had run out, and the eggs were cold. Unfortunately, there’s nowhere around to get food, so bring your own. There’s a fridge in the common area where you can store perishables, or leave them in the car. Some basic renovations would go a long way, and breakfast should be hot and plentiful. Undecided if we would stay here again, probably only if we couldn’t get a room somewhere else.

2/10 Poor

4/10 Fair

Overpriced worn out Dormatory
The guest House did not meet the expectations at all, pictures online showed the main building but we were displaced to the nearby worn out dormatory annex - an abandoned building close by. Ordered the room with a double bed and got two single beds separated. Way too overpriced for the standard, could have booked a hotelroom in the nearby hotel at a cheaper rate, if we had not book so early in advance.. good advice: have patience and keep an eye on the prices, they get cheaper the closer you get to the trip! Also pay attension to the booking details - we had to argue with the manager about free breakfast (we paid 203 euro pr. Night) and he insisted that breakfast was not included.. gee! Parking was free though and nearby. Breakfast was as expected in a guest House/dormatory place - Nothing fancy.
