Excellent stay with great facilities, friendly staff and so close to town.

Stunning location in the countryside!

We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!

Comfortable room which opened up to a patio and well kept colourful garden. Staff helpful and friendly. Weather was sunny so we were able to have breakfast in the garden. Breakfast was excellent. Easy walking to Abingdon and buses every ten minutes to Oxford.

Lovely little place within easy walking distance of Abingdon. The accommodation was simple, but perfectly suitable. Sadly, we only stayed for one night as it would have been great for longer.

Peaceful, gorgeous location

Such an idealic spot with walks for the dog into town taking just 10 minutes where there is an abundance if shops, takeaways and pubs located on the Thames. Gorgeous, can rate it highly enough and thank you Millie for your very kind hospitality arranging breakfast around our schedules
Graham, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Quiet location but close to the town

Quiet, Clean and local to Abingdon town centre. Breakfast is continental style. We walked into the town which was only a short walk down an unlit but narrow tarmac dead end road.
Anthony, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

From the moment we arrived it was absolute bliss.. easy check in, warm & welcoming room.. clean & comfortable beds! Beautiful hot power shower, Millie catered our continental breakfast, fresh baked croissants, pan au chocolate, gluten free & dairy free options, local honey & delicious coffee of the month 😊 A rural, tranquil, magical beautiful B&B .. we will definitely be back to stay 💖

Lovely location, lots of walks, pubs ,cafes in walking distance. Bring a torch to walk along the country road in the dark, to get to the main road into town. The accommodation is warm and comfortable.

Cute, warm and exceptionally clean room with a cozy warm bathroom. A nice comfy bed and lovely morning breakfast of fresh fruit, cereals, and breads. Whilst visiting our son in town, we touch a chance and booked one night at Kingfisher Barn and it won’t be our last!
