No staff at reception. Guests were checking themselves in. A text in German with my room number. Got that sorted. Decided to stay another night. None answered the phone so rebooked thru Expedia. Four texts in German so I asked for a translation but got no reply. Nice place but seems disorganized.

We arrived around 11.30pm as we drove up from Berlin. We called in advance and was notified of our room hence when we got to the front desk (there was no one there), we could pick up our keys and head towards our room with ease. The room was extremely clean with bedding and towels. We checked out at approximately 9.45am as we were heading to Heide Park. Do take note that there are no blackout curtains in the room so it was extremely bright from 6am onwards. It was an easy 5-10 mins drive to Heide Park hence I would recommend this accommodation if you’re just staying overnight and heading to the park.

Two room apartment was spacious and comfortable. When we checked in we were given keys for a family room although we had booked and paid for an apartment, reception rectified this and give us keys to make our own choice of apartments. Breakfast was good and included in the price.

Nice breakfast! Nothing to miss. The ambience of the restaurant is not really homey. And the beds were terrible. Also the non-smoker had a bad smell of smoke, maybe it hasn t been a non smoker room for years. The water pressure was not enough to take a shower. As a man with short hair, it took me almost 20min to get wet and clean me from soap. Despite the negative aspects, i can recommend it! The rate is more than fair! The breakfast great! We just stayed one night.

German delight
This was our first visit to Germany and we only stayed for one night at the Wolterdinger .The hotel was lovely, it was clean quiet and the food was great. The service also is excellent. Would have loved to have stayed longer, highly recommended to all.

Skønt børnevenligt sted med lækker morgenmad
Vi havde et fantastisk ophold. Vi ledte efter noget der var både billigt og børnevenligt, så vi havde ikke sat næsen så højt efter service osv, men Wolterdinger hof er et virkelig skønt sted for børn og deres morgenmad er enormt varieret og bedre end vi har fået på dyrere hoteller, vi var positivt overraskede. Der er så trygt og roligt og børn kan lege alene rundt i gården, der er kaniner og en dejlig ro. Jeg havde læst at der var meget lydt på værelserne, men det var ikke noget vi mærkede noget til overhovedet. Virkelig god oplevelse for pengene og så ligger stedet fantastisk ift natur og oplevelser i nærheden. Jeg kan varmt anbefale stedet, især hvis du rejser med børn.

Der var ingen i receptionen selv om vi ankom kl 23.00 fandt er nummer at ringe ril efter lang tid. Så skulle vi selv tage nøglen inde i receptionen og finde værelset som var meget svært at finde og i en helt anden bygning uden nummer og virkelig mørkt. Da vi kommer inde er der virkelig beskidt og indelukket. DER VAR IKKE døgnåben reception! Vi kørte efter få timer.

Ubehagelig oplevelse
Forfærdeligt! Der skulle være døgnåbent reception. Men der var ingen tilstede. Da vi får fat i dem på telefonen, skal vi selv finde nøglen. Først får vi en kælder, hvor der ikke kan aflåses til etagen ovenover. Så får vi et værelse på 3. Sal i en anden bygning. Ulideligt varmt. Det sidste værelse vi får tilbudt og sover i, er der så fugtigt, det var som at sove i telt. Intet af det matchede billeder eller beskrivelse på hotels.com. ydermere skulle det være ekstra børnevenligt. Men da vi ankom kl. 22. Var haven fyldt op med fulde mænd, der først stoppede festen kl. 4.00 - ingen opsyn og ubehagelig stemning med små børn.
