Pros: Welcoming staff, clean hotel/rooms, brand new pool, 24hr coffee machine in lobby, free breakfast (no milk/no fruit/no juice. Choices during our stay were Waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt & pancake/sausage on a stick). Cons: Pool is around 4 1/2 to 8 1/2 ft deep so no shallow area for kids except the steps. (A kiddie pool or splash pad in the grassy area would be nice) Offer milk & at least one fruit and/or juice with bfst Check all plug ins in the rooms, a few didn’t work Overall: It was a good stay for the price!

We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and clean. On our balcony the view was beautiful and peaceful. Pool was closed for repair but it looks like it will be nice when completed. Plenty of parking. At the time of check-in I had to wait about 15 minutes when I saw that there was no one I went through the hotel until I found the lady from the front desk after she gave me the keys to the room and when I entered the room the room had a smell of dead fish quickly I went down to the front desk and asked for the something for the smell to see if it will go away and it didn’t with only multi purpose cleaner. quickly I went to Walgreens to buy spray for the room but it still smelled bad during the entire stay but the view is beautiful.

The property itself could use a bit of an update, but the people who work at this hotel make up for the lack of updates. The staff was so incredibly sweet and helpful for my entire stay. I was pleasantly surprised that breakfast was included - I could’ve been aware of this at the time of booking and forgot about it, but either way I was very happy with this. There were plenty of options available each morning (the waffles were my favorite). I added an extra night to my stay with no hassle, and was charged the same rate I had already paid instead of any up-charges. I do wish the pool area would have been accessible, but I do understand it needing to be closed for hurricane repairs. I am considering booking again next May so I hope the pool will be available then. I will definitely want to stay again in the future.
