Regret booking this hotel, unfortunately. The rooms and facilities are new and fresh, but the service is poor and the staff barely understand English. I chose between this hotel and Concepció by Nobis (exactly the same price), and I regret my choice so much!
Things that made the whole experience negative at HM Palma Blanc:
• The reception could not help with any restaurant reservations, did not know any restaurants, and could not give any recommendations.
• They did not understand simple questions in English, for example: “When should we be at the airport if the flight leaves at this time?”
• They did not have Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, or any diet drinks at the pool bar, according to the younger pool guy
• The young guy at the pool bar was really not service-minded and did not want to help when we asked if he could move a small table after we had ordered lunch. He did not smile or even try to help—he just said “no” and walked away.
• The phone in our room did not work. A technician came to change it, but it still didn’t work.
• The air conditioning was set to 20°C and it was freezing in the room. The technician told us we could not change the temperature—it was 20 degrees or nothing. SUPER WEIRD?!
• The pool is overcrowded—forget about getting a sunbed.
• We felt that the guys at the front desk were talking about us in a not so nice way
