Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Updated large room with a comfortable king bed and large bathroom. Because of the altitude there’s no a/c, just a vertical fan. Limited food options in hotel but a nice sunken bar and game area. There are several food options nearby that are easily walkable.

The property was very close to Mammoth Village, so it felt like we were within walking distance to almost everything. The property itself was also very clean, and the front desk employees were very attentive. Our only complaint was that our first room was not clean upon arrival (the toilet was used/dirty, the shower was also used with toiletries opened and out, the bed sheets were used/dirty, and the floor was dirty). However, they quickly moved us to a new room, which exceeded our expectations! Will be staying here again!

Only downsides were a very small jacuzzi/hot tub and lack of full service restaurant (thre Cellar bar serves food, and the former restaurant, now closed, was WAY overpriced, so...).
