Xoma is a beautiful property, and extremely comfortable. However, for the prices charged, you shouldn't come back to uncleaned room after having spent a day sightseeing -- then negotiating with the front desk to get it cleaned.

Beautiful hotel with inspiring architecture, plenty of space, a shady private balcony with lots of plants, very comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, a wonderful rooftop area to relax, lovely pool, excellent service, grear location. The service was inconsistent, but after complaining about the Front Desk, the manager Karla, was wonderful in improving our experience for us. Overall, I would highly recommend staying there.
