We experienced the following problems at reception. 1 My wife requested three extra pillows on arrival but was initially told this would not be possible. Eventually two extra pillows were delivered/ 2 We had booked a deluxe twin room but were given a standard double.but this was rectified and we were moved. the receptionist blamed her computer system. 3 Receptionist was unfriendly and rude.More interested in booking the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. 4 Receptionist called concerning our check in review at approx 9 pm and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. This was declined as we wanted and early night due to hospital appointments the following day.. 5 key cards had only been activated for the first of our two night stay 6 Second night of our stay we got little sleep due to the noise from a car alarm gong off constantly. i appreciate. that this may be out of the hotels/hospital control but ai would be interested if any attempt to resolve this situation had been attempted. 7 Woken at 9am by the person wanting to clean our room.

The perfect stay
We werent sure what to expect for a hotel in a hospital, but were pleasantly surprised . The room was imaculate and bed very comfortable , great leisure facilities (the only improvement in my mind would be a bigger sauna) and one of the best hotel breakfasts ive had in a while . The staff in all areas were welcoming and friendly without being over familiar. Thank you everyone !

After Christmas break
The hotel itself is fine and the rooms are modern, clean and bright. Food from restaurant was ok although a bit overpriced (but it is standard hotel rates) and the breakfast was decent with a good selection . Staff are friendly without being overbearing.

It was okay, room was nice and clean, think it must have been updated recently, although pet hate is mould on silicone in the shower, either get something to treat it or replace it. Breakfast was okay, usual mix. Bar was good and service was good from the staff, just had a bar meal. Gym and pool access was great, although changing room was looking a bit tired and needed a clean but otherwise was nice having these facilities. All the staff I spoke to were great, friendly and helpful.

Sad, old and tired. Avoid.
I don’t often leave reviews but I felt it important to highlight to others - this hotel is not 4 star… unless it’s 4 out of 20. The bathroom looked like it was done 20 years ago, the shower was sad, the blinds were stuck and the wardrobe looked like it held a mop and bucket in it… it was more like a cupboard from a factory. Overall the most disappointing stay I have had anywhere in a long time.

Covenient for hospital visit.
I checked in due to the property being ajacent to the hospital next door where I had an appointment the following day. The check in was great . Th eprice I thought very reasonable considering I am sure the hospital brings in many guests . All staff were very friendly, polite and professional. Yes the rooms were a little staid but very clean . The one negative was the breakfast stopped being served at 09.30 which is unusual, usually 10.00 isnormal, the waitress did arrange a bacon roll but I had paid for Breakfast with the room . I used the pool which was nice.

Really nice hotel. Doesn't tell you it's attached to a hospital nor does the room explain there interconnected so you can hear your neighbour very well. Every word. Other than that, facilities are lovely, bed was comfortable. Restaurant was nice.

Comfortable stay for the night, room spacious with the basic amenities. Fantastic rain shower, Good breakfast which consists of a continental & cooked breakfast. Has a nice pool, steam, sauna which we unfortunately ran out of time to use. Easy checkout, only thing is it’s quite a distance from Glasgow and there seemed to be limited travel options. However great for an overnight stay if you have a car as has Free parking. Would recommend to family & friends if they required a hotel outside Glasgow.
