Good stay

The resort was not as upscale as I was excepting from looking at the pictures, however it was also a lot less expensive compared to the other resorts and hence, made it worth it. The swimming pool, bar service and breakfast, along with the beach were excellent. Absolutely loved the beach - it felt sheltered, calm waters and very relaxing. I would recommend this place for the price factor along with the private beach access.

Happy with our stay

Parking was close and easy. We first had an alright view with partial view of the sea. We asked for a different room and were gladly shown a different room and we're given the keys to the new room with an excellent view.

We really enjoyed our stay. Since it was the off season and the weather was iffy, we weren't sure what to expect. Although they were doing maintenance because of the time of year, I'm happy to say that the property exceeded our expectations. The food was quite good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities themselves were in good shape overall, and because it was off season, it was easy to hang out in a variety of places without being crowded. We had a few torrential downpours with thunder & lightning and the seating under the covered areas was a bit limited, but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable wherever they decided to hang out. It was a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back, especially in the off season.

The price for an inclusive is unbeatable. The food was good, usually the same buffet options with slight variations for breafast, lunch and dinner. I did not drink any alcohol so i have no opinion. The room is clean, the propety i general is clean but is rundown and shows sign of poor maintenance.

The food was good, the people were ok. Not many workers working in the restaurants. One person covering lots of people in the dining area. The rooms were clean which only gets cleaned if you ask. . Pool and beach was great. The condition of the grounds were not good it need some renovation broken cement tiles. Our room was on 3rd floors, no elevators in the back of the hotel in a wooden area with very limited lights and was not comfortable walking back there along especially at night and walking up 3 flights of cement stairs everyday was a lot. Only entertainment was one or two persons singing at night. Over all it was a decent stay and they are doing renovations.

Food options are not as advertised- restaurants closed 5 of the 7 days we were there. Housekeeping is 10.00 a day more. Beach area is nice but the property is run down and only having one restaurant and a pool grill daily is not what they advertised

The rooms were small but suited our needs just fine for a few days. The meals were terrific: tasty and bountiful. The staff were extremely kind and helpful in accommodating our needs (I was traveling with my elderly parents who needed assistance getting around the large property). We wished we could have stayed another week.

I recently stayed at Jolly Beach Resort for a week, hoping for a relaxing Caribbean getaway, but it turned into a nightmare from start to finish. What was supposed to be a budget-friendly all-inclusive turned out to be anything but, thanks to a combination of poor service, hidden charges, and subpar facilities. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Right from check-in, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They barely acknowledged us, and any questions we had were met with curt responses or eye rolls. It set a terrible tone for the entire trip. To make matters worse, they hit you with hidden fees left and right – things like “resort fees” that weren’t mentioned in the booking, extra charges for Wi-Fi that was advertised as free, and even surprise costs for using certain beach amenities. It felt like a scam designed to nickel-and-dime guests at every turn. The rooms were another major letdown. They don’t get cleaned daily, and there’s no proper housekeeping service at all. We had to dispose of our own garbage, trekking it down to some distant bin ourselves because no one would come to empty the trash cans. The AC didn’t work properly either; it was either blasting freezing air sporadically or not at all, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable in the tropical heat. And don’t get me started on the towels – we had to beg the front desk multiple times for new shower towels, as they weren’t replaced automatically and the ones provided were often damp or worn
