Unique, fun, colorful and oddball
This is a very unique, cool and fun place to stay. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are spartan, unique and somewhat unusual. No two seem to be alike and the configurations of each are not standard hotel layouts, which is refreshing. Furnishings are very spare but comfortable. No carpets or rugs on the old wooden floors. No dressers or bureau but comically huge (& bare) closets. Great bar off the lobby.

Rooms not as shown
The only options to book are delux rooms. i Booked the king bed delux room. was given a non delux room. It had no refrigerator, no kitchenette or anything shown in the photos. Plus we were given a two queen bed room. it was clean and comfortable, but again, no amenities except a coffe machine. The staff were helpful and valet was easier than event parking prices. Very convenient. Overall, it was comfortable and cute, just not what I paid for.. i might suggest calling ahead to make sure you get the delux room.

Nice hotel, old but some rooms have been updated and the interior of the building seems to be in the process of getting an update. While there are many bars in the area I was disappointed that the bar wasn't open on a night that there was a concert at Climate Pledge Arena.

Exquisite vintage property and super fun to “go back in time”. The lounge is so cool and great jazz quartet. My second stay here and I’ll go again.

The property was uniuque, and I enjoyed the stay. They were in the middle of doing sone renovations, and it was not listed thst there was not an elevator. That made it challenging for my husband as he only has one lung and is easily winded.

Second time staying at the MarQueen. I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Seattle. Lots of history behind this location. It’s charming and the staff make you feel like family. Close to Rapid D bus and walking distance to Space Needle and great restaurants.

We love the neighbourhood. Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, theatre and grocery store. Kitchenette is a nice perk with full size fridge, sink and microwave. A very historic, vintage building.

8/10 Very good

I generally love this place. But this trip I desperately needed an aspirin or ibuprofen late at night. Front desk told me it's against the law for the hotel to provide anything like that. OK. But when I asked what solution they recommend for guests in this situation, he had no clue. A good hotel would have a list of the nearest 24-hr stores and/or delivery services or something else to at least try to offer a solution. I had a really painful night.
