An Enjoyable Visit

All in all, our visit was enjoyable, the food was delicious and the people were very friendly. We were very impressed by the hospitality shown to us by the staff (my wife is disabled) and we will definitely return to the hotel in the future.

Amazing Location - No Dogs Policy

Please note they do not take dogs at this hotel. In our search for dog friendly hotels this property came up as dog friendly. The manager was fantastic and understanding but we did leave in the end. Hotel looked great so hopefully we will be back one day without our pet.

Great hotel with lovely views and wonderful pool! Staff all friendly and helpful and food excellent, both evening dinner and breakfast. Our favourite hotel in England!

10/10 Exceptional

We loved to stay at this hotel despite other bad reviews. Only big problem the heat. The hotel is not ready when it comes to hot days. There where conditioners but didn't really worked and the rooms where very hot at night and during the day. But breakfast was excellent and so the rest of our stay

4/10 Fair

Very disappointed ☹️

It was very disappointing, I took my mother there for her Birthday. The room was very small, nothing like the pic’s on the website. There were two Wedding events going on, upon our time of arrival, hence music until late hrs outside our room! The staff were very accommodating and helpful, otherwise for the price of the room, we won’t be going back!
MARK, 1-night trip

Great stay

Very nice location, room was nice warm and comfy, quite noisy but we were above the front entrance, kids screaming, but was ok

Short break.

Lovely views and a comfortable stay. Room was very big and the shower was excellent. The fridge wasn’t working but was replaced straight away. Breakfast was great with a good choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant that had beautiful views of the harbour. Great location for exploring The Island. Staff very helpful.Swimming pool was great too although a bit on the warm side. However a good size. Bar area was really good too.

David, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room clean but "tired". Breakfast fine. I reported a non functioning ceiling light on day one which still not fixed after 4 days - not really good enough. I should not have to read and work sitting on the bed because the light is broken. Stay was OK but not much more than that.
Peter, 4-night trip

3rd and last time I’ll stay here.

My 3rd time at this hotel so I know there are better and cleaner rooms. I won’t come back as this room was dirty, dated and missing hand wash & body wash in the room. I was disappointed to be staying in a room adjacent to the smoking area, when I was with a child and it was summer so you’d want the windows open (well, one window was broken and the other let in the smell of smoke). Generally it was really dirty and our room wasn’t cleaned once. The pool wasn’t as nice as it has been. Sandy bottom and even stones! This was the 4th UK hotel I’d stayed in during August and the worst. The restaurant is nice and it’s a great location. I do think they could do better. Sorry.
Laura, 4-night trip

Room was very quiet - great. Breakfast busy and canteen like noisy
