Breakfast booking.
We booked this hotel via Hotels.com for 5 nights. Everything was fine EXCEPT for the breakfast booking which we paid for but did not get as the hotel claimed that it wasn't booked with breakfast even after I showed them my full confirmation booking showing that breakfast was included in the booking.
The hotel did not make any attempt to confirm with hotels.com why they sent the 'wrong code' to them. They instead asked that we pay for a discounted breakfast. They didn't realise that it wasn't about the money for breakfast but rather their attitude towards the mix-up between the hotel and hotel.com.
After I showed them my booking which showed that my reservation came with breakfast, they claimed that hotel.com was using an old code.
If this was the case, I wonder why they hadn't taken this up with hotel.com, afterall, you got this booking from hotel.com showing the room WITH breakfast.
You could have also contacted us through our email considering you had our details as provided by hotel.com.
My advice to anyone booking any room with breakfast at this hotel is to also contact the hotel directly to confirm that the room is booked WITH breakfast.
