It’s an old hotel but such a lovely spot by the water that even though I grew up in Berkeley, it’s where I always like to stay when I can get affordable nights. The smell of the water and the sound of the seagulls always makes me happy. The facilities are very nice too with a decent little gym and a pool as well as a good walking area.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the freeway and the view of the waterfront is amazing. The only setback was the condition of the hotel. It could definitely use a nice facelift. Unfortunately the room, bathroom and carpet is a little outdated.

This is a gorgeous property next to the most beautiful waterfront park in all of the East Bay. Staff is super friendly and helpful and accommodating. The hotel and rooms themselves are a bit dated but everything is comfortable and clean.

Hotel is located in the Berkeley Marina and next-door to the Cesar Chavez Park. The park will blow your mind with its beauty. The best part of this hotel by far is its location. Tremendous value for the money!

Still love this place

Great stay overall!! Only issues were housekeeping slamming doors and yelling to one another. I work nights and sleep in the morning and afternoon and was looking forward to a quiet relaxing stay and that was a bit disturbing. Asked for toilet paper that never came
