Ok, but disappointed
Ok experience. Nothing more and nothing less. Two Norwegians pretty used to comfort and good accommodations, and this wasn’t all the way as expected at this price level, even though it’s Serengeti.
The staff were very bad in English, so we found ourselves lost in translation very often. Which made planning a safari a bit of a challenge. However, our safari guide was fantastic.
The food was ok, but variety was not good at all.
The worst: This hotel is MUCH more expensive than they disclose on Hotels.com. I wound up paying almost double for one night when we added lunch and dinner, and EXPENSIVE local taxes which (again) were not disclosed. This should be included in the price to just avoid the irritation.
