My recent stay at Holiday Inn Express was an absolute nightmare. What should have been a relaxing getaway turned into a horrifying ordeal. The rest of the night was a nightmare. We tossed and turned, unable to sleep due to the incessant itching . The thought of sharing a bed with these parasitic insects was both disgusting and terrifying. But to give the benefit of doubt we just went to bed .
My 5 year old kept on complaining about constantly itching all night , eventually she passed out . When we woke up we just couldn’t stop itching and were getting burst out , which won’t stop , kept on putting moisturizing lotion but it just won’t stop.
I did let the receptionist know about the issue , who BTW acknowledged that they had some kind of bugs here and will let there manger know. I called the hotel later to address my issue but manager was not there and eventually got a hold of him “ Derrick Mauro the hotel Manager just gave me the same run around that he did this or that and he didn’t see anything. He wanted to send me video of the room and I’m like so you basically told me on the phone that I’m lying or making it up to get a refund or something similar , well that conversation ended there . I had to cancel all my bookings of the for our trip and drive back to denver . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with kids . I thought Holiday inn express was a Name Brand that holds high standards but I guess they’ve lost their customer service .
