Can’t say enough about the dining options on property. The café coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had. The mac & cheese there is to die for. And the daily happy hour at the upscale restaurant was also amazing. Staff was amazing and I certainly will never stay anywhere else in Iowa.

I absolutely loved my two night stay at Hotel Fort Des Moines. The hotel itself was magnificent, my room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. I enjoyed the cafe several times and wished I would have been able to try the restaurant. All the staff I interacted with were so friendly, helpful and very professional.
