The staff is great, but the old hotel could use some updates, first there is a communal iron for the entire hotel that needs to be used in the hallway, I think the hotel can do better and invest in having at least more iron so folks don’t have to go down to the fifth floor to do their iron, this is pretty standard, a couple of bottles of courtesy water every once in a while go along way, as well… Also, the breakfast buffet is rather unimaginative outside of pastries, it’s the same Rony eggs and two different kinds of sausages every day… Brazil is fantastic country with great and imaginative Gastronomy, they can do better than this

Hotel é muito bom! Porem desta vez ai chegarna recepcao! Timham 3 atendentes no computador! Fiquei ima 5 minutos em frente a eles sem ao menos receber um boa tarde! Cheguei as 14:30! Segundo a atendente nao timha quarto disponivel! Pedi pra levar minha filha para piscina e a resposta foi negativa! Apos pegar as chaves nao recebi nenhuma informacao sobre hotel! Pelo menos estava anotado no cartao o numero do quarto! Lamentavel o check in

Já foi o Mercure, hoje passa longe
Caiu demais o padrão, nem parece mais o Mercure Itajaí. O atendimento na recepção mudou de tal forma que não há mais a tradicional preocupação com o hóspede. No restaurante então foi a pior mudança, antes tinham a melhor tapioca da região, nesse final de semana que estive foi servido uma massa dura com os itens pedidos internos duros e totalmente frios dentro da tapioca, além do café frio. Tinha um ótimo senhor garçom atencioso, mas não está mais, agora são jovens sem o menor tato para atendimento, não tiveram treinamento pelo jeito. Na saída o atendente do estacionamento estava brigando com uma moça na portaria e sequer cumprimentou o bom dia. Trouxe o carro, abriu a porta e nenhum comentário. A localização continua perfeita e a qualidade do quarto.
