First of all, and shame on me, I didn't realize that there are two resorts... Paradise Stream and Cove Haven. We've stayed at Cove Haven every time and when I booked this, I thought it was the same. Cove Haven is awesome! Even in the winter. Paradise Stream is just lame. The dining staff are amazing and the food was good. But the hotel/resort staff are extremely rude! One person at the front desk actually made fun of our last name. Now, granted, it's Butts, but have some freaking professionalism! I was extremely offended at the guy laughing and making fun of it. The CXO (the person who runs the events) didn't show up to the events. They were in a totally different building waiting to be called by the bar staff. And if it was just us (one couple), they wouldn't do the event. It was so disappointing. The game room could have been cool, but games were missing pieces, the little bowling thing they had was broken, the Photo Booth was broken. The mini golf they had indoors wasn't bad. Cove Haven has pretty tame deer that are everywhere on the compound. When I asked the Gift Shop lady if the deer came around Paradise Stream, she gave me an incredibly disgusted look and said no. We were shocked at her response. We did not feel welcome and they did not have the traditional service you'd expect at a resort. We actually drove over to Cove Haven (about 50 min away) to hang out for a couple of hours and see the deer.

The room was horrible. The property was not up kept. I became so depressed when I was driving on the property. I couldn’t stay another day so I was transferred to cove Haven. I can’t believe you are charging people so much money. The room was horrible, the amenities was horrible but the staff was excellent.

Room was outdated and service was terrible. Had called down to the desk 3 times for no hot water and kept getting someone will be there soon. No one showed. Hit water was finally fix only for the next day to fail again. Will not return

Our stay wasn’t the best. Our room had the indoor pool in it and the door was left opened to the pool area where everything stunk like chorine, even the tissues!! The floor was wet from the steam and we had to put the ac on so it wasn’t so foggy in the rest of the room. We have been going to these cove resorts for many moons and have seen over the years how they are declining. Wasn’t happy with the food this time around where in the past, it was amazing. Very disappointed. We didn’t complain cus this was our “FREE” night since we are part of the forever lovers club. Not sure if we will stay overnight at paradise stream again. We may just do the day passes.

UPS and downs

Facility its self was good plenty of things to do at the resort and nightly events Our room looked fantastic at first hand but the more you’re in there you notice the bad. Did notice the jacuzzi was cleaned every day that was a plus. But our private pool was probably the worst experience It felt just nasty and dirty went to use the ladder and it had some type of brown flakey slime and covered my wife’s hands brown. Went to use the shower the first night and noticed it wasn’t draining so I ran my foot over the drain and it was nothing but hair stuck to it. That kinda threw me off but I just moved on with my day TVs are good just can’t hook anything up to them so don’t bring a Roku or Amazon fire stick to stream shows on because it won’t work Other then all that the stay was okay
