10/10 hotel. Highly recommended.
Went to celebrate our engagement and the hotel staff were amazing. Made us feel extra special, we’re super kind and helpful. The hotel was stunning. Lots about the history and the modern upgrades (spa, facilities, etc) were well entangled.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. A small castle with a very nice garden. The spa is also very nice.
Staff could be a little bit friendlier. The continental breakfast was just ok - one kind of cheese and ham. We had dinner at the brasserie and even though it’s also quiet expensive the food was as good. So I would recommend dining at the really nice restaurant there or exploring Plymouth for dinner.

Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment.
Packed with history and a real oasis of peace and comfort.
Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious with a wide choice of options. I felt that the dinner option I had was a bit “nouveau cuisine”, lots on the plate but not much there. But what was there was very well prepared.
Spa was very pleasant, although a bit of a shame that the steam room was out of order, as well as the lift to the spa.
Will be staying again, it’s not cheap, but you pay for what you get.
