Very nice hotel with beautiful surroundings. Some decent vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast. The place was really buzzing on Saturday night, but chilled the other days. Room was good - but some minor things like crumbs in the tea tray let it down very slightly with regards to cleanliness.

Wedding anniversary night away. Outside pool is perfect for relaxing. We ate at Charlie’s restaurant. Food is delicious. Our waiter was attentive and very professional. Overall experience is restaurant was great. Breakfast the next day was outstanding. All of the staff were attentive and polite. Bedroom was tastefully decorated. We had a really great sleep. Bed was super comfy. Hotel is in a beautiful setting. We will definitely return here.

Superb hotel and short break experience
Excellent hotel. Stayed for two nights on a break for my birthday. Professional staff and good service and high levels of customer care. Excellent Spa with great views from the relaxation area and a superb heated outdoor pool. Food was also excellent; great breakfast and the food in Charlie's (we ate there the two nights we stayed) was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this spa hotel. We will be going back.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and staff were friendly and helpful. We did have a couple of issues, however:- - We found a pair of false eyelashes and a kirby grip on the base of the shower, (neither of which are used by my husband or myself!) - I had requested an quiet room a few days before we arrived. Our room was directly above the 24 hour gym and I was wakened at 6am on the first morning by the thump of the medicine ball in the gym below.
